Sterling Construction adds Roger Cregg to its Board of Directors

Sterling Construction (NASDAQ: STRL) is pleased to announce that Roger Cregg has been appointed to the Board of Directors.  Mr. Cregg has served as a member of the board of directors of Comerica Incorporated, a NYSE listed financial services company, since 2006.  Mr. Cregg previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AV Homes, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed homebuilder, from 2012 until its sale to Taylor Morrison Homes. Prior to that, Mr. Cregg served as a senior executive and Chief Financial Officer to The Servicemaster Company from 2011 to 2012, PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE) from 1998 to 2011, the Zenith Electronics Corporation (NYSE) from 1996 to 1998 and Sweetheart Cup Company, Inc. from 1990 to 1996.  Mr. Cregg also served on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Detroit Branch, from 2004 to 2009, including serving as the Chairman of the board in 2006.

Mr. Cregg is an accomplished and operationally oriented executive who has had a broad range of responsibilities, including having served as a Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of public and private companies, along with having served on numerous boards of directors. Mr. Cregg’s public and private company executive management leadership experience provides the board with demonstrated leadership capability and extensive knowledge of complex financial and operational issues. His experience provides valuable insight to the board, particularly in his role as audit committee chair and as an audit committee financial expert.

REV Fire Group Announces Darin Moore as VP/GM of Ferrara™

REV Fire Group, which includes REV Group Inc. manufacturers of fire apparatus and related aftermarket parts and services consisting of E-ONE®, KME®, Ferrara™, and Spartan Emergency Response®, announces Darin Moore has joined Ferrara as VP/GM and Bert McCutcheon has been appointed to a new role supporting REV Fire Group, VP of Product Management.

Moore joins Ferrara with more than 17 years of experience in manufacturing, including operations leadership roles within Pierce Manufacturing, Kewaunee Fabrications, Wheeled Coach Industries and Lennox International. Moore has MS in Management from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and BS in Operational Leadership/Management from Maryville University.

Turtle & Hughes Adds Caldwell Hart to Supply Chain Leadership

Turtle & Hughes (Linden, NJ): Supply chain management veteran Caldwell Hart recently joined the company as SVP Supply Chain, chief procurement officer, and as a member of the executive team. In this role, he will be responsible for strategic procurement, operational purchasing and related services. He will report directly to Jayne Millard, chairman and co-CEO, and Kathleen Shanahan, co-CEO. 

“Centralized supply chain leadership will add value and margin to our bottom line service to our customers. Caldwell’s two decades of leadership in supply chain management will drive value across all business operations by leveraging our relationships, consolidating our supplier base, and expanding our offerings with a goal of higher customer service,” said Millard in the release. 

Most recently, Hart worked at MKS Instruments, a technology solutions company. As its first CPO, he led teams responsible for S&OP, demand and material planning, inventory management, global commodity management and more. Previously, he had spent 12 years as Dresser-Rand, a Siemens business; Bristol Myers-Squibb; United Technologies Corporation; and The Vanguard Group.

Hart earned his MBA from the University of Virginia and his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University. Additionally, he is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and Supplier Diversity (CPSD).

Bob Vary has joined Duke Energy as Vice President of Business Development and subsequently promoted to SVP, Sales and Relationship Management and will become a member to the Enterprise Leadership Team. Bob will also assume responsibility for commercial renewables sales.  He is responsible for managing accounts and business development, and driving wholesale power, commercial renewables and distributed energy solution sales for all municipal, cooperative and investor-owned utilities, as well as large commercial and industrial customers. Bob’s team is the company’s primary customer interface, managing account relationships for Duke Energy’s top accounts, engaging customers that fit within its top commercial segments, and promoting Duke Energy’s portfolio of products and solutions to our target customers.

With more than 29 years of experience in the energy industry, Bob has held various leadership roles in sales and marketing, account management, and service in the U.S. and Europe, including head of sales for the Americas region for ABB Group. Bob serves on the boards of REC Solar, Tangent Energy Solutions, PHX Management Holdings LLC and Joules Accelerator. Bob received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

He grew up in West Wareham, Mass. He and his wife, Michelle, have four sons.

Ben brings more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive with domain expertise in finance and payments. Prior to joining First Performance, Ben was a founder of Debx, the industry’s first daily credit card payments platform. REV Group welcomes Anoop Prakash as President, Ambulance Division

REV Group (NYSE: REVG), manufacturer of industry-leading specialty vehicle brands, announces Anoop Prakash will join the company as Ambulance Group President on Monday, September 23, 2019, where he will oversee all the ambulance brands including Horton, AEV, Leader, Road Rescue, McCoy Miller, Wheeled Coach and Frontline.

Anoop’s appointment comes as Bob Collins announced his retirement after 42 years of dedication and service to the ambulance industry. Bob will remain with REV Group until the end of the year, to help in the transition of his duties to Anoop.

Prior to joining REV Group, Anoop was with Harley-Davidson, most recently as Director, Retail Development where he led the U.S. distribution channel organization for motorcycle and related product sales through a network of over 700 independent retailers. In addition to leading the U.S. Sales Operations and Planning efforts at Harley, he also led the U.S. Electric Vehicle go-to-market and network readiness efforts. Other notable positions at Harley-Davidson include Director of U.S. Marketing and Market Development, Managing Director for H-D Canada, as well as leading the company’s entry into India as the Managing Director, overseeing the commercial office.

In addition, Anoop has advised leading automotive and consumer companies as a consultant with both Egon Zehnder and McKinsey & Company.  He served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and holds a BA from Stanford University as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Bull Moose Tube, a leading manufacturer of steel pipe and tube, announced a change in leadership of its sales team. The company announced the hiring of Jeff Strobach as its new vice president of sales. The new hire was made following recent retirement of the leadership of the company’s sales team.

As vice president of sales for Bull Moose Tube and Bull Moose Engineering, Strobach is responsible for the commercial strategy and leadership of the 40-members sales team. Joining the company in 2018, he leads the company’s efforts in the area of sales leadership coaching, strategic account/market development and distribution-strategy design.
